The search for Captain Keyes returns to the Covenant cruiser under heavy Flood pressure. The route mixes damaged ship interiors, organic obstructions and a short exterior approach.

Keyes mission walkthrough

1. 01

   Get back aboard the cruiser

   The mission begins inside the damaged Truth and Reconciliation. Let the Flood and Covenant in the opening room fight, take the Active Camo on the left and keep a Shotgun for the Combat Forms that remain. The route then drops out of the cruiser and into the green pools beneath it.

2. 02

   Find Captain Keyes

   Follow the green runoff along the right side of the exterior route, then fight back toward the gravity lift and board the cruiser again. Continue through the organic growth until you reach the command center and what remains of Captain Keyes. After the cutscene, retrieve his neural implants and leave as soon as the objective updates instead of trying to clear every Flood.

3. 03

   Reach the hangar and steal a Banshee

   The escape path drops through the ship and eventually reaches the final hangar. Fight to the central platform rather than looking for a parked aircraft. Watch the Banshee circling the bay, jump as it passes over the platform and hijack it to finish the mission.

Completion tips

Carry something that clears nearby Infection Forms and can stop Combat Forms quickly. A loadout built only for long range struggles in the tight compartments.

• At the opening, let the Flood and Covenant fight while you take the Active Camouflage on the left and look for a Shotgun.
• At the green pool, another Active Camouflage lies along the right runoff. Use it to reach the sniper Jackal and take its Beam Rifle.
• During the gravity-lift fight, prioritize the high-ranking Elite at the rear. It can pressure the whole room with a Fuel Rod Gun or Needler.
