Halo: Campaign Evolved Launch-Week Briefing
Halo: Campaign Evolved launches with 13 missions, 42 Skull modifiers, Campaign Remix, four-player online co-op and a curated LASO preset.
Halo: Campaign Evolved enters launch week with 13 campaign missions, 42 collectible Skull modifiers, Campaign Remix and four-player online co-op. The familiar ten-mission route is joined by Operation: METEORITE, a three-mission prequel starring the Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson.
Campaign and co-op
The main campaign rebuilds the ten Halo: Combat Evolved missions. Operation: METEORITE adds Boarding Action, The Most Dangerous Game and Heavy Burden, set before the original campaign aboard a Covenant research vessel.
The announced feature list also includes:
- three collectible Skulls in each of the 13 missions;
- three additional Skulls awarded through Campaign Remix, for 42 in total;
- two-player local split-screen on consoles;
- online co-op for up to four players across supported platforms;
- optional friendly fire controlled by the Fireteam leader;
- Steam Deck Verified and Windows Handheld Optimized ratings;
- a Machinima mode available through input combinations rather than a collectible.
The LASO requirement
The final LASO set uses collectible difficulty modifiers, so players must find the relevant Skulls before the preset becomes available. Difficulty Modifiers cannot be enabled if the Fireteam wants the MYTHIC LASO achievement to unlock.
Use the 42-Skull database to track modifier effects and the mission list to plan three collectibles per mission. The Operation: METEORITE guide separates the new prequel missions from the rebuilt Alpha Halo route.
