Halo Studios used its July 14 pre-launch stream to demonstrate local split-screen, a four-player Campaign Remix session and the final curated Skull lineup used by the game's LASO preset.

Co-op and Remix shown in the stream

The demonstration showed two-player local split-screen on supported consoles and an online session with four players. Campaign Remix changed the encounter and available equipment instead of simply giving enemies more health.

The LASO preset uses a selected group of difficulty Skulls instead of activating all 42 modifiers. Contradictory or challenge-trivializing modifiers are left out so the preset can maintain a consistent route.

The MYTHIC LASO Skull set

The announced lineup includes Iron, Black Eye, Fog, Famine, Thunderstorm, Mythic, Grunt Birthday Party, IWHBYD, Boom, Eye Patch, Grunt Funeral, Malfunction, That's Just Wrong, Speed Limit, Pop, Temperamental and Johnny Ammo Seed.

Players must first collect the required Skulls. If anyone in the Fireteam separately enables Difficulty Modifiers, the MYTHIC LASO achievement will not unlock. Our Skull database tracks all 42 modifiers, while the MYTHIC LASO achievement guide isolates the achievement restrictions.

Before starting a co-op run

Decide whether the session is a normal Remix run or an achievement attempt before launching. Confirm the Fireteam leader's settings, remove extra Difficulty Modifiers for MYTHIC LASO and use the co-op guide to check platform and player-count rules.
